This is a great request — being able to feed the output from a previous automation step directly into an agent's knowledge base would unlock genuinely powerful dynamic workflows (e.g., run a web search, then update the agent's knowledge with the result).

Right now, the Knowledge Automation action supports Taskade Projects, YouTube links, and website URLs, but raw text from a prior step isn't a supported input type yet. We hear the frustration — that gap makes it hard to build fully AI-driven pipelines where the agent learns from the automation's own outputs.

This is on our roadmap. For now, a workaround is to write the output to a Taskade Project first, then reference that project in the knowledge action — not ideal, but it closes the loop. We also shipped agent file uploads in v6.102.0 for richer knowledge injection in conversations.
