Chatting with any PDF using AI gives an error.

I tried it with many different PDFs that I have in my projects that used to work. Now they all give an error. Usually Internal Server Error or Forbidden.

Sorry about this — getting an Internal Server Error or Forbidden when chatting with PDFs that previously worked is genuinely broken behavior, and it should not be happening.
This likely stemmed from a backend change to how document access and authentication tokens are handled for AI queries against uploaded files. We've been making infrastructure changes on that side and some edge cases slipped through.
In v6.102.0 (Feb 6) we shipped Agent File Uploads, which significantly overhauled how documents (including PDFs) are processed and accessed by AI. That update included more robust error handling and fixed several permission/access issues that were causing Forbidden errors. v6.107.0 also improved document indexing and large workspace handling.
Could you give it another try with the same PDFs and let us know if the errors persist? If they do, it would be really helpful to know: are these PDFs stored inside a project, or linked from somewhere else? That narrows down whether it's a storage path or a processing issue. We want to get this working properly for you.
