Desktop App Window Goes Blank During AI Chat while in Preview App

When working with the AI in chat, the desktop app window will go completely blank. Everytime this has happened, the AI chat is printing a response that never gets finished. To complete the chat, I have to close the window completely, end all taskade processes, restart the app, then ask the AI to finish its response.

This sounds like an issue where the desktop app renderer loses its connection to the AI response stream and fails to recover gracefully, leaving the window in a blank state instead of showing an error or retrying. It's a rough experience, especially when you then have to piece together what the AI was saying.
We've been making steady improvements to AI chat stability on desktop — v6.83.0 fixed a web content tool crash, and v6.91.0 fixed a project creation button crash. This specific blank-window-during-streaming scenario is actively in our sights. In the meantime, if it happens again, the AI should be able to resume with a prompt like "please continue where you left off" after restarting. Thanks for reporting this — keep the updates coming if you notice any patterns around when it triggers.
