Latest Update does not completes downloading

I am using 4.4.4 on Windows 10.
It says update is available. 4.4.5
No matter what update option I choose, the download of latest doesnt start.
It says Downloading

I keep receiveing in the past 16 hours the same message. When i try to update the message is that "owner" did not verified this version.

I deleted, reinstalled. Keeps showiing the update message.

Remove or replace it with similar extensions"

Narek Zograbian When I go to download exe-file software from there, it gave notification "[version].exe isn't commonly downloaded. You should be sure, you can trust [version].exe before downloading".
Also after I gave the permission, my firewall blocked your software? Just to let you know.

I keep getting the update notification despite having updated and relaunched the program. I am wondering why this is happening, whether or not my Taskade has updated, and what I can do to get it to update so it won't keep giving me the message to update.

This happened to me on 2 PCs. I had to uninstall, then dl & install the latest version. Now it seems to be fine.

alanp I did that and still get the problem, now it asks me to update to 4.4.3

alanp I tried that when I had an issue, it was still 4.3.3 version. Today I tried to download again and now it's 4.4.3. Fingers crossed the auto updater will not have this issue with the new versions.

After updating MacOS Taskade app from 4.4.0 to 4.4.2 via automatic update Taskade app crashes. Below is the complete error. I switched back to 4.4.0 and everything is OK, as before the update. Thanks for replying. PS

I'm on Windows 11 and I get the popup to update.
I choose "Install and Relaunch".
I get another popup saying "Downloading".
I wait for about 30 seconds and there's some error that disappears very quickly (I removed some data from error, that I think is PII):

uninstall taskade completely
and install from windows store
it solves the problem

socialblaster thanks for the response, but don't want to rely on Microsoft Store. I was perfectly fine with downloading the .exe directly..
Also, I tried that back when I had the issue and the version was not the 4.4.0, it was still 4.3.0
Today I tried downloading .exe (not from Microsoft Store) and it's now 4.4.3 version, so it works fine now
Hopefully the next update won't force us to download the .exe again
