Google Sheet Shared Drive connection
planned
vatrice
I am able to connect a Google Sheet that is located on My Drive but not on any Shared Drives. This prevents my team from being able to set up automations. It would be great to update this feature to include Shared Drives.

This is a real blocker for team setups — when your organization uses Shared Drives as the standard (which is common in Google Workspace), not being able to connect automations to those sheets means only personal Drive users benefit. That effectively locks out the teams who need it most.
We've done significant work on the Google Sheets integration: v5.206.0 upgraded the automation engine with better filtering and Google Sheets range selection, and v5.130.0 fixed several Google Sheets issues. We also shipped broader Google Drive automation actions in v6.2.0. Shared Drive support is a known gap and something we're actively working to close.

And if you want to build team workflows that don't depend on this limitation in the meantime, Taskade Genesis (https://taskade.com/create) lets you create AI-powered workflows with a range of integrations. Thanks for the clear bug report — Shared Drive access will make Google Sheets genuinely usable for teams.

I think Taskade alone is more focused on project management, but combined through webhooks with no code/low code tools like Zappier or n8n your can do way more !
