This is a really important calendar UX request — when you have a recurring task, you want to see all future occurrences laid out on the calendar so you can plan around them, not just the next instance.
We've made significant improvements to our Calendar View since it launched (v4.5, v4.9) and to recurring task handling (v4.6, v4.62, v5.23, v5.166, v6.14). We fixed a leap-year recurrence bug in v6.14 and have been steadily improving how recurring tasks behave across the calendar.
Showing all future repetitions as individual calendar events is a natural next step and something we're actively working toward as we mature the recurring task and calendar integration.

Then later, I noticed that tasks created manually in Google Calendar (still the correct Taskade one) won't sync if they are repetitive tasks, which I use a lot. And if I create them directly in-app, it will show only the first one, and the following occurrences will appear only once the previous one is over. Which might make me think I will be free at that time when I'm not, it's just the event not showing yet.
To plan I need to see my whole calendar for the next days and weeks, that issue really is counterproductive... Those are major issues for an organization and scheduling app.

Enhanced Visibility for Recurring Tasks
x
xander_p
Dear Taskade Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to make a feature request regarding recurring tasks. Currently, when creating a recurring task, it only appears on the next due date in the calendar. However, it does not display on all future dates where the task will need to be completed.
This limitation makes it challenging to plan and strategize work for the coming weeks or months. Having the ability to see all instances of a recurring task on the calendar would greatly improve the planning process, especially when managing multiple projects and deadlines.
I kindly request that recurring tasks be displayed on all applicable future dates in the calendar view, rather than only the next due date. This enhancement would make Taskade even more effective and user-friendly for long-term planning.
Thank you for considering this suggestion and for your continued efforts in making Taskade a powerful productivity tool.

Calendar: Make Repeatable Dates and Colorable Tasks
ethan_sweat
Please make all events in the taskade calendar repeatable, and give the events the ability to change color please! Literally just follow Google Calendars features. Also make the ability to create separate calendars. Please and thank you!
francis_4242
Please consider implementing this feature.
It's important to see the future repeating tasks in order to plan ahead.
As it is now, if I add a task somewhere in the future, I don't see if it clashes with any existing recurring tasks.

create easy task for every days in month
knightdoom
I search app that create easy task for every days in month, for create habits. I need tasks can generate in less than 1 hour for all month. My tasks are loop.

Unbeliaveble that this is not a feature... I just felt in love with taskade, but without seeing future planned tasks it just lost half its value for me. Definitely not paying for premium version without this feature

joao-pampanin: How far out would you want this to go? Would you want to have an option to hide it?
sedjchang
Narek Zograbian for as long as the recurring event is in the calendar. I have things I am planning month ahead of time and I update class schedules for next year in that as I sign up for classes. I should be able to plan long term?
dchabo
sedjchang I'm surprised this feature isn't implemented either. I just spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong before coming here. I don't understand why reoccuring tasks would not show on the calendar...this is a basic need!
francis_4242
Narek Zograbian at least 1 year ahead would be fantastic, ideally, into infinity
