Great request and clearly a popular one — the ability to drop in an audio file (or a Google Drive link) and get a clean transcript that feeds directly into a project would be a massive time-saver for meetings, interviews, voice notes, and podcasts.

We've had YouTube transcription as an automation action for a while now (improved in v5.175.0), and transcription is built into our agent tooling — but uploading a raw audio file and getting a transcript out of it is not a native workflow yet. The second half of your request — converting the transcript into a structured project — is something our AI agents already do well once you have the text.

This is a well-defined feature with real demand, and we're actively thinking about audio file support as part of our knowledge and media ingestion work. In the meantime, if you transcribe audio externally (Whisper, Otter.ai, etc.), you can paste the result and have a Taskade Genesis agent (https://taskade.com/create) instantly organize it into tasks, summaries, or action items.

I was checking and found this post. Perhaps an agent tool to connect to OpenAI whisper via my own OpenAI API. So the cost of the transcription would be mine, not Taskade’s. I have a need to transcribe appointments setting calls and fill a meeting notes template. If this api integration was available I wouldn’t need to go the N8N route…. And keep everything within Taskade. About 60 appointments per day.
