Good news for this thread. Automations now include a Microsoft To Do step, on the Pro plan and up. It has Create Task, Update Task, Complete Task and Find Tasks, plus "New Task in List" and "Task Completed" triggers. With two flows you can copy new tasks both ways and, as Gareth Doherty described, mark a To Do task complete when its Taskade task is done. Keep incoming tasks in their own project so the flows do not loop.
A built-in two-way sync is still open, and votes help us prioritize.

Thanks for this request — Microsoft To Do is a widely used tool and a 2-way sync would be a meaningful integration for teams that span both platforms.
We haven't yet shipped a native Microsoft To Do sync, but it's one we continue to evaluate. If you're using Microsoft 365, you might also be interested in our OneDrive integration (shipped in v5.76.0 and v5.78.0), which lets you connect OneDrive files directly to your workspace and AI agents as knowledge sources.
For bridging task data between apps in the meantime, Taskade Genesis at https://taskade.com/create lets you build AI-powered automation workflows and agents that can interact with external services. Many users are using Genesis apps and agents to replicate cross-platform task syncing logic. AFAIK you can only import directly from Trello and Markdown.
Unfortunately, as one of the (apparently) most popular apps today, MS ToDo doesn't allow export in any format.
Can you help??

Hi Erica Bunker, CSV import is now live. In the sidebar, hover the Projects folder of your workspace, click the + button, choose Import, then open the Import CSV tab. You pick a Primary Column for the task names, and every other column becomes a field (Text, Select or Number). A file can be up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows, so an export from ClickUp or Asana works.

Hi Erica Bunker, thanks for your patience. Taskade can now import a CSV file: open Import in your workspace and choose Import CSV. A CSV export from ClickUp or Asana is a good starting point to move your templates over without retyping them.

I would love to be able to migrate from ClickUp/Asana into Taskade but there is no import from CSV or Excel. So, I have this wonderful software that I can't use because I refuse to recreate all of my templates in Taskade.

Thanks, we are exploring integrations with Zapier and Make (Integromat) in the near future. Calendar syncing wise, do give 2-way sync with Google Calendar a try and see if that works in its current form for your use case. If you need a free trial upgrade to test the feature, simply contact us.

John at Taskade: I think they are asking for the ability to sync Tasks from the Microsoft To Do app and if you "Complete" one of those Tasks in Tasade then it will "Complete" the same task in MS To Do

Hi Gareth Doherty, you described exactly the flow you can build now. Automations include a Microsoft To Do step with a Complete Task action, so a flow that starts with When a task is completed in Taskade can complete the matching To Do task. A built-in two-way sync is still open.

Hi Ahmed Hani, you were right that it was possible. Taskade Automations now include Microsoft To Do directly, with triggers for new and completed tasks, so you no longer need Make for the basics. A built-in two-way sync is still open, and your vote counts.
